Well the past two days have been great. Start with tonight. My little butterfly, Trinity, aka Trini had her kindergarten program. Well the performance was a hit. They performed several top 20 songs you may know: Cookies, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Guacamole, I'm a pizza, and 1st grade/1st grade, among other things. She did fantastic. Her smile was ear to ear, and I know she really enjoyed performing. I am so proud of her, and there is no greater joy seeing your child have fun and do a great job! Trini is my pride and joy; I can't believe that she is growing up and going to be in 1st grade in the fall. Note to the fathers out there: Be present, take advantage of the time that you have with your family, and be the example that your children can follow.
Now, Sammy and I got to enjoy some time together with each other, and then with the rest of the family. We got to go down on the field before the Rangers vs Angels game. Well, my son loved it. I think he even slid down in the dirt on purpose so he could get his baseball pants dirty! I can tell you that getting the opportunity to go down there and do that, as well as go to Red Raider games and meet some pro football players, he really enjoys sports even more now. All of a sudden he wants to throw the baseball in the front yard during baseball season. During football season Sammy wants to play football in the backyard, and then go upstairs and run around with the football while jumping into the couches! He is growing up as well, and is becoming a talented little fella.
Thankfully, both my kids take mostly after the great woman that puts up with me each and everyday!
C-Pep Out!

hehe guns up! i assume your profile pic is from a tech game!
ReplyDeletei always find it funny that if i go to one of the kids school programs, i have a good time and am also really in to whats going on. well the other day i went to a program where kiera was in the art showing portion but not the musical portion. because none of my kids were involved, i suddenly found it similar to torture having to endure 8 year olds play instruments like the recorder!
Actually that pic is from an Angels vs Mets game in Cali when Erin and I went out there last summer.
ReplyDeleteRecorder....man there is not one single note that comes out of a recorder that sounds good. That instrument should be burned!
