Taking a hint from my good friend Sammy, I thought I would weigh in on tonight's American Idol episode. First off did anyone see the evil stare from Jordan Sparks after she performed her song.....that scared me!
Anyway, American Idol is one of the many shows that my wife and I watch together. I guess I will admit that I am a fan now...Do I have to turn in my man card while I watch the show?...Danny got voted off. What a joke! That guy should be in the finals. Why can't America see that Adam will not make it in the main stream. He needs to be a singer for Cirque De Soleil. Kris' version of Heartless was on point; it might have been the best performance of the year. Although, I am thinking Kris made it sound soooo much better since Kanye sounds so horrible performing it.
Which leads me to my next point. I gotta invest in a DVR so I can just record the show, watch the performances, and get through all the nonsense. I will admit, my wife and I are old school. We still tape shows on VHS. I know, I know, this is the year 2009, not 1990. Well, maybe that will be our next family purchase. Maybe my daughter will want one for her birthday? Don't act like you've never bought a gift for your kid that you wouldn't use for yourself. Just kidding, or am I?
